Services Available

We have agreed with Durham Primary Care Trust to provide NHS services for all our current NHS patients. We also provide Private dental treatment for our current Private patients, and offer a Denplan scheme – ask reception for details. NHS dental treatment includes all treatment necessary to secure and maintain your oral health. We also provide a full range of private treatment options for patients who choose to have treatment that is not available under the NHS – for example large white fillings in back teeth or dental implants. The poster in our waiting room has information about the cost of NHS treatment. Your dentist will advise you of the cost of any private treatment. You will always receive a written estimate for your dental treatment costs, showing both NHS and any private options Specialist services We also provide the following special services - sedation, home visits and dental implants. We can refer you to specialists in other areas of dentistry. These may be in NHS primary care or hospital settings, or Private specialists. We use the most up to date digital radiographic and screening equipment to minimise x-ray dosage to patients. If you are concerned about x-rays please speak to your dentist.
